SchoolDistrictIn 2011 friends of Jane Wagner, former two term President of AAUW Fort Myers/Lee Co. gave $500 for an award in her memory. This amount was matched by the Branch and led to formation of the AAUW Lee County High School Scholarship. Annually the Branch randomly selects a high school, and requests that the high school administrator/counselor select a graduating female student for the $1,000 scholarship to continue her education.

Please contact the guidance counselor at your high school to apply.

Star-BrightAAUW Book Club members established the Star-Bright Memorial Fund in 2005. Members of the Branch make donations in memory of friends and to commemorate special events. As funds accrue, awards are made to women pursuing a vocational education at either Fort Myers or Cape Coral Technical colleges. Please contact the guidance counselor at your school to apply.
